Job Description:
Overview
In this role you will support product development and technical improvements for a fibre optic connectivity specialist. You’ll perform hands-on testing, diagnostics, and CAD-based documentation while expanding product knowledge and providing technical support to customers and suppliers. You’ll work closely with the MD and engineering team, with occasional international travel and a clear path to technical progression within a growing, long-established business.

Responsibilities
- Support product development and engineering improvement
- Perform hands-on testing and diagnostics with test equipment
- Create CAD work and technical documentation for products
- Develop deep product knowledge through collaboration with MD and engineering team
- Provide technical support to customers and suppliers
- Occasional international travel
Key requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics (or similar)
- AutoCAD experience
- Strong communication with customers/colleagues
- Full driving license
- Commutable distance from Swindon
