Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of property litigation from inception to trial
• Advise clients on disputes and pursue resolution via court, mediation, or ADR
• Maintain emphasis on risk management and excellent client service
• Meet annual billing targets and KPIs
• Supervise and mentor junior colleagues to help them develop and achieve targets

Key requirements

• Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and experience litigating to trial
• Strong mediation and ADR knowledge
• Experience in property-specific disputes desirable (damage, trespass, nuisance) or willingness to train
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex matters clearly
• Resilience, client-focused approach to contentious work
• Strong organizational skills to manage a busy workload independently
• Supervisory/management experience is advantageous
