Senior Technical Coordinator – Residential & Mixed-Use Development

We’re recruiting for a Senior Technical Coordinator to join an established development business, working across residential and mixed-use development projects.
This is a varied technical role working closely with the Technical Director, providing input from initial land acquisition and technical due diligence through planning, design, infrastructure delivery and construction.
The role will involve:
▪️ Technical due diligence and development feasibility
▪️ Identifying infrastructure constraints, abnormal costs and technical risks
▪️ Coordinating civil engineering, highways, drainage, utilities and structural disciplines
▪️ Managing external consultants and design teams
▪️ Supporting planning applications and technical approvals
▪️ Managing S38, S104, S278 and S106 requirements
▪️ Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and engineering information
▪️ Providing technical input into budgets, programmes and development appraisals
▪️ Supporting value engineering and commercially viable technical solutions
▪️ Resolving technical issues through construction and completion
About you
We’re looking for someone with experience within residential development, housebuilding, construction, civil engineering or a related technical environment.
You may currently be working as a Technical Coordinator, Senior Technical Coordinator, Technical Manager, Engineering Manager, Development Manager or Civil Engineering Project Manager.
Experience of residential/mixed-use development, infrastructure, highways, drainage, utilities and technical approvals would be particularly relevant.
Relevant HNC/HND/BTEC qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction or Building Studies would be advantageous, together with AutoCAD experience.
