We are supporting a listed natural resources business looking to add a Legal Counsel to its London team.
Working as part of a lean legal function, this is a broad in-house role offering significant autonomy and direct exposure to the General Counsel and senior leadership team.
The successful candidate will advise across a varied range of matters including commercial contracts, corporate/M&A, governance, compliance, ESG and wider day-to-day legal issues arising across the group’s international operations.
Given the size and structure of the team, this is an opportunity to develop as a genuine in-house generalist rather than specialising in one particular area. There will also be exposure to strategic projects and transactions as the business continues to grow.
We are looking for a lawyer ideally around 1–2 PQE, either currently in-house or interested in making their first move from private practice. Previous mining experience is not essential, but a genuine interest in the natural resources sector will be important.
The role is based in Central London with hybrid working and offers a competitive base salary alongside a strong bonus opportunity.
