About you
- Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar manufacturing role
- Good understanding of welding, fitting, and assembly techniques
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of Health & Safety practices in a manufacturing environment
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
What you’ll do
- Assist with fitting, stripping, and welding duties associated with the build and dispatch of containerised engines
- Measure and fit differential pressure hoses accurately
- Complete tagging, cleaning, and painting of sets prior to dispatch
- Help maintain a tidy and safe shop floor environment
- Support team leaders and other departments to ensure production deadlines are met efficiently
