Systems & Resource Manager

Temporary minimum 52 weeks
Rate of Pay: £20.66 per hour
Hours of Work: 37hrs per week
The Client: Local Government body in the Lisburn area serving local residents.
The Role:
As a member of the Sports Services Unit Management Team, the post holder will be required to:
- Lead the unit’s Quality Assurance Team to include relevant input into any external quality validation schemes including Investors In People and Customer Service Excellence
- Lead on procurement within Sports Services, advising and assisting managers with all procurement exercises within Sports Services. Keep records of all procurement documents and review end dates of all procurement’s across the Service
- Undertake periodic efficiency reviews within the Sports Services Unit to ensure a high quality service is delivered to all stakeholders
Essential Criteria:
- A Degree or other Level 6 qualification
- A minimum of 3 year’s experience in managing a business or administrative function
- A minimum of 3 year’s experience in the following areas:
- The development of operational business plans
- Developing the use of ICT to support service delivery and income generation
- The effective introduction, implementation and monitoring of financial procedures
- Experience in implementing and maintaining external quality models such as Customer Excellence
- It is essential that applicants hold a full (ie. not provisional) and current UK driving licence and access to a car or have access to a means of transport which would enable the applicant to carry out the duties of the post*

Where applicants do not possess the essential qualification above, they must demonstrate a minimum of 5 year’s experience as outline above
