What to expect:
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
Assisting the team with contract quantity surveying duties
Quantification, procurement and tendering of works packages
Preparing sub-contractor cost and budget comparisons
Post contract cost control of sub-contractors and suppliers
Contract administration and payment of sub-contractors
Assisting with project cost control and reporting
How will I spend an average working week?
Youll be putting into practice what youve learned at university, working on a range of high-profile projects and playing a key role in delivering projects on time and under budget.
Who were looking for:
Relevant bachelors or HNC/HND students in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines Degree
Open to working away from home
Team players with drive, curiosity, and a passion for the built environment
Excellent communication & negotiation skills
High levels of organisational skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent numerical, IT and problem-solving skills
Hold a full UK driving licence
