About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ procurement experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise in supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and inventory management
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as Infor Cloud suite Industrial (Syteline)
- CIPS Level 5/6 or equivalent qualification is desirable
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Leadership experience with the ability to drive continuous improvement
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals
- Source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
- Lead tendering processes to secure best value and ensure supply chain continuity
- Monitor and analyse market trends to optimise costs and mitigate risks
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs and conduct regular reviews
- Support inventory and production planning to minimise disruptions
- Lead and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
