Phonics & Reading Support TA—Term-Time Impact in Early Years

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Phonics and Reading Support Teaching Assistant for a mainstream Primary School in Preston, starting October 2026. The role is term-time, Monday to Friday, 8:40am–3:20pm, supporting EYFS and Year 1 pupils with early reading development.

You will deliver small-group and one-to-one phonics interventions, work closely with teachers and the school’s phonics lead, and help pupils build confidence and fluency in reading within a nurturing, inclusive environment.
