Join Allied Pharmacy in Aberystwyth as a PPD (Patient Prescription Delivery) Driver, where you’ll play a vital role in getting essential medicines safely and promptly to patients in the local community. This is a rewarding opportunity to be the friendly face of our pharmacy for those who rely on us most. As a trusted representative of Allied Pharmacy, you’ll help ensure our patients receive the care and continuity they need, right at their doorstep. Key responsibilities:

• Deliver prescriptions and pharmacy items to patients’ homes across the Aberystwyth area
• Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely service
• Verify patient details and obtain signatures where required, maintaining accurate delivery records
• Handle medicines with care, following all confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
• Provide a courteous, professional and reassuring service to every patient you meet
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
• Support the wider pharmacy team with related tasks when needed

What we’re looking for:

• A full, valid UK driving licence with a clean or near-clean record
• A polite, friendly manner and a genuine commitment to customer care
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability and punctuality
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently
• Awareness of confidentiality and the importance of handling medicines with care
• Comfortable working with elderly or vulnerable patients
• Basic navigation skills and familiarity with the Aberystwyth area (desirable)

Please note – This is PPD (£2.50 a drop) Part time – starting at 2 days a week Using your own vehicle.
