Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of children and their families.
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Managing a caseload of children in need, ensuring timely interventions and regular reviews.
- Working closely with schools, health services, and community organizations to provide holistic support.
- Participating in Child Protection Conferences and contributing to multi-agency meetings.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly within a locality team setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with children, families, and professionals.
- Excellent assessment and analytical skills, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
