The Optoelectronics Research Centre at the University of Southampton invites applications for a Research Fellow to join the HiPPo Programme, developing AI-enabled programmable coherent fibre-laser arrays.
You will combine experimental photonics with numerical modelling and modern machine-learning techniques to measure, predict and control spatial optical fields, including beam shaping and coherent beam combination.
