They are looking for a hands-on Hardware / Systems Engineer to help design, build and automate the experimental and engineering systems that underpin their technology.
This is a broad engineering position sitting across mechanical design, automation, controls, fluid handling, instrumentation and software.

You could be working on anything from designing a new test rig or mechanical fixture, through to integrating pumps, sensors and motion systems, writing control software or improving an automated experimental platform.
We’re looking for someone with experience across areas such as:
- Bespoke machinery, R&D equipment, automation or precision engineering systems
- Mechanical design / CAD – SolidWorks or similar
- Taking hardware from concept through prototype, test and validation
- Sensors, actuators, motion control, pneumatics or fluid handling systems
- Controls, embedded systems or equipment software
- Integrating mechanical, electrical and software components into working equipment
- Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting and system development
Experience within automation, robotics, scientific instrumentation, semiconductor equipment, manufacturing technology, printing/coating, laboratory equipment or similar multidisciplinary engineering environments would all be relevant.
The key thing is being someone who enjoys building things, making them work and solving varied engineering problems rather than operating within one narrow engineering discipline.
