My client is urgently looking for a contract Senior MDM Platform Manager who will be accountable for the Informatica MDM/PIM platform once it leaves project mode — owning both the technical configuration of the platform and the delivery of the change that runs through it.
This is deliberately a dual role. It is not a programme manager who commissions others to make changes, and it is not a platform engineer who waits for a specification. The postholder is expected to design, configure and test changes in Informatica themselves, and to own the plan, budget, partner relationships and stakeholder governance that surround those changes.
Essential experience.
Hands-on configuration experience with Informatica MDM/MDM SaaS/IDMC, or a directly comparable enterprise MDM platform (Reltio, Stibo STEP, TIBCO EBX, Semarchy), at a level where the postholder can make and test platform changes unaided
• Demonstrable ownership of an enterprise MDM or data platform in a run/continuous-change state, not solely in implementation projects
• Strong data modelling capability: conceptual, logical and physical; hierarchies, relationships and survivorship
• Proven design and tuning of matching and deduplication logic against real, messy, multi-source data
• Practical integration skills — REST/SOAP APIs, batch and event-driven patterns, payload design, error handling and reconciliation; comfortable in SQL
• Track record of delivering technology change end to end: plan, budget, dependencies, testing, cutover and hypercare
• Experience managing systems integrators and software vendors, including scope and commercial change control
• Experience taking over a partner-built platform and successfully internalising it
• Credible with both engineers and senior business stakeholders; can translate platform constraints into commercial language and vice versa
