Engineering Supervisor

Location: Heathrow

Full-time | Monday to Friday | 7am – 4pm

At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength. We are looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to manage the day-to-day delivery of hard services and building fabric maintenance within a busy airport terminal.

Working closely with the client and leading a team of 11, you will ensure engineering activities are allocated effectively, completed safely and delivered within agreed timescales.

Role Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering staff, allocate workloads and monitor performance.
• Manage hard services and building fabric maintenance activities.
• Ensure work is completed in line with KPIs, health and safety requirements, and Mitie’s Quality Management System.
• Build strong working relationships with the client and attend approval meetings.
• Manage subcontractors and audit completed work orders.
• Review quotations, challenge costs and order required materials.
• Approve team holidays and overtime.
• Produce operational reports using the client’s CAFM system.
• Support ad hoc projects as requested by the Account Manager.

What We’re Looking For

• A mechanical or electrical engineering qualification.
• Previous experience supervising or leading an engineering team.
• Strong organisational, communication and client-facing skills.
• The ability to prioritise workloads and deliver work within agreed timescales.
• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to guide and support a team.
