I’m currently working with a well-established organisation in the Midlands that is looking to appoint an experienced Applications Specialist to support and develop a portfolio of business systems used across the organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, improving business applications and working closely with both technical teams and end users to deliver real business value.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting, maintaining and enhancing a range of core business applications
- Investigating and resolving complex application issues
- Delivering system upgrades, releases and configuration changes
- Working with third-party software providers and internal stakeholders
- Assisting with application integrations and data management
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the applications estate
- Producing technical documentation and sharing best practice
- Ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and fit for business needs
We’re keen to speak with people who have experience of:
✔ Supporting enterprise or line-of-business applications
✔ SQL and database querying
✔ APIs and systems integration
✔ Windows Server environments
✔ IT Service Management tools (Jira, Helix, ServiceNow or similar)
✔ Application configuration and troubleshooting
✔ Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
