Mechanical Project Manager – Central London

I’m working with a leading M&E contractor seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major commercial shell-and-core development in Central London.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of the mechanical package, including:

• Managing the project from design coordination and procurement through installation, commissioning and handover
• Leading mechanical site teams, supervisors and specialist subcontractors
• Managing programme, labour, materials, plant and project resources
• Overseeing HVAC, public health, pipework, plantroom and riser installations
• Coordinating mechanical services with electrical, structural and architectural packages
• Monitoring progress, quality, health and safety, costs and change control
• Managing client, consultant and main-contractor relationships
• Driving testing, commissioning, snagging and project close-out

What I’m looking for:

• Proven experience delivering large-scale commercial mechanical projects
• Strong shell-and-core and major plant experience
• Previous experience working for an established M&E contractor
• Excellent technical, commercial and programme-management knowledge
• A demonstrable record of delivering mechanical packages safely, on time and to the required quality standards
