Senior Planning & Data Analyst

Overview

In this role you enable evidence-based decision making by delivering management information on City St George’s students through dashboards. You will help shift reporting from ad hoc requests to a self-service data model for key groups. You’ll work with a central Strategic Planning and Performance team to support the university’s strategic planning and performance activities. This is a chance to shape how student data informs decisions and to contribute to a large, mission-driven higher education institution.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data dashboards to provide management information on students
• Produce high-quality MIS reports for internal audiences
• Support transition from ad hoc requests to self-service data access
• Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders and communities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within SPPU and the wider university

Key requirements

• Experience in data analysis or business intelligence
• Proven track record of delivering dashboards and reports with clear insights
• Strong numeracy and ability to analyse diverse data (student, staff, financial)
• Excellent attention to detail
