Director – Business Consulting

Overview

As an AWS AI Solutions Architect, you will shape and showcase cloud and AI-led solutions for strategic European customers. You work closely with sales and account teams to articulate value and lead technical discussions across cloud, data, and AI. The role covers PoC creation, RFP ownership, and executive demonstrations, aligned with AWS best practices. You will collaborate with AWS alliance partners to accelerate outcomes and influence GTM initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements and pre-sales discussions on cloud, data, and AI
• Partner with sales to articulate Birlasoft’s AWS and AI offerings to customers
• Design end-to-end AWS-based solutions including AI/ML, data platforms, and modernization
• Drive PoC development and demonstrations (GenAI, copilots, agents)
• Own RFP responses for AWS, AI, and cloud transformation initiatives
• Create proactive solution POVs and run customer workshops for high-impact outcomes
• Collaborate with AWS Alliance Managers and partner teams to align with reference architectures
• Coordinate with internal practices to accelerate customer outcomes

Key requirements

• 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution design experience
• Strong hands-on AWS experience across compute, storage, networking, security, serverless, containers
• Proven experience with AWS AI/ML services (Agent Core, Bedrock, SageMaker, Comprehend, Textract) and GenAI patterns
• Strong development skills in Java and/or Python; frontend exposure (React or modern JS)
• Experience in application modernization, cloud migration, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code
• 5+ years of customer-facing experience in consulting or pre-sales
• Strong presentation, communication, and executive storytelling skills
