Quality Assurance Manager

Overview

As Quality Assurance Manager at Thales, you will drive quality across programme delivery, acting as the voice of the customer and promoting continuous improvement. You’ll partner with project teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure quality informs decisions throughout the lifecycle. The role offers visibility across the business, a chance to shape quality culture, and opportunities for professional development and security-cleared work. This is a hands-on, collaborative position at the Crawley site.

Responsibilities

• Act as the customer representative within project and bid teams to maximise customer satisfaction
• Monitor, analyse and report quality performance to support successful project delivery
• Encourage and develop best practice across programmes and functions
• Identify risks, opportunities and areas for continuous improvement
• Plan and conduct project audits and surveillance activities in line with Project Quality Plans and audit strategies
• Promote a positive quality culture throughout the business

Key requirements

• Experience in a quality assurance, regulated, or continuous improvement environment
• Knowledge of current quality standards, practices, and methodologies
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and certification requirements
• SC Clearance or willingness to obtain clearance
