Overview

As Digital Product Manager, you will own the roadmap for a customer-facing digital platform combining subscriptions, editorial content, accounts and e-commerce. You’ll shape the digital growth strategy in collaboration with the Head of Digital and external partners. Expect cross-functional collaboration to prioritise features that deliver meaningful customer value and business impact. This is a growth-focused, hands-on role with broad ownership and a path to more senior responsibility as the product function matures. Your work will directly influence how subscribers engage with premium content and services.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the organisation-wide digital roadmap
  • Support subscriptions, customer accounts, content and e-commerce experiences
  • Lead product discovery and translate stakeholder needs into prioritised deliverables
  • Collaborate with external engineering and agency partners on new features and improvements
  • Leverage customer insight, product data and commercial priorities to inform decisions
  • Coordinate stakeholders across digital, editorial, commercial, marketing and creative teams
  • Challenge conflicting requests to focus on high-value outcomes
  • Introduce structure and clarity across the product lifecycle
  • Work with internal design teams to improve customer journeys and overall digital experience

Key requirements

  • Approximately 3–5 years in product management or digital product delivery
  • Experience with subscription, membership or recurring-revenue digital products
  • Background in publishing, media, content, e-commerce, arts and culture or other consumer-facing environment
  • Experience owning or contributing to product roadmaps, discovery and prioritisation
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with senior, creative and non-technical colleagues
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Ability to operate within a small team and assume responsibility beyond a narrow remit
  • Experience with external development teams or digital agencies is beneficial
