Fund Data Operations Specialist

Overview

In London, join the EMEA Fund Data Operations team to lead and support fund-related initiatives within a regulated asset management environment. You will collaborate across Product Development, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Investment Risk, Portfolio Management, Client Services, IT, and Operations to ensure regulatory compliance and strong data governance. The role focuses on delivering accurate fund information, lifecycle events, and governance-backed processes while driving improvements and timely decision-making. Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day coverage and ensure continuity during high workload or absences
• Maintain a robust control environment with evidenced policies and procedures
• Meet deadlines and deliverables, escalating material issues promptly
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and control
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers
• Coordinate production and delivery of UCITS KIIDs, PRIIPs KIDs, SICAV KIDs, and updates to Prospectuses/Supplements
• Manage fund lifecycle events (launches, registrations, new share classes, closures) with governance
• Ensure MiFID II reporting obligations (TC/Charges, EMT, EPT, EET) with controls and audit trails
• Conduct thorough reviews of fund documentation for accuracy and operational fit
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align decisions and governance
• Demonstrate vendor management across data accuracy, SLAs, and issue resolution
• Participate in project initiatives and support internal audits with evidence gathering
• Undertake additional duties ensuring governance and execution standards

Key requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in asset management or financial services
• Extensive experience creating and overseeing PRIIPs KIDs, UCITS KIIDs, and SICAV KIDs
• Strong technical understanding of fund structures, operating models, and regulatory frameworks
• Proven ability to manage high-priority workloads and meet tight deadlines
• Strong prioritisation, teamwork, and delivery focus
• Desirable: strong project management experience (planning, governance, stakeholder coordination)
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across levels and jurisdictions
• Highly organised with excellent administrative, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Prior experience with Python and SQL is advantageous
• Interest in applying data analytics and AI tools for fund oversight and automation
