Overview
In this role you lead end-to-end security engineering initiatives within a small, trusted security function in a Microsoft-centric environment. You will address identity and access, Zero Trust, cloud security, vulnerability management, SIEM/detection, and application security, with an initial emphasis on SSO and access management improvements. You’ll collaborate with IT, Engineering and senior stakeholders to automate processes and strengthen security controls across the application estate. Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end security engineering projects from design to implementation
- Improve SSO and access management posture
- Strengthen joiner/mover/leaver processes
- Reduce reliance on traditional VPN access
- Enhance visibility across the application estate
- Build and automate security controls and processes
- Collaborate with IT, Engineering and senior stakeholders
- Drive security improvements in Entra ID, cloud and zero-trust initiatives
Key requirements
- Experience with Entra ID
- Experience with AWS or GCP
- SIEM and vulnerability management experience
- Zero Trust or security automation background
- Hands-on security engineering in a Microsoft environment
