About Glaicier
Glaicier is a UK Microsoft consultancy. We help organisations move, adopt, secure and get real value from Microsoft 365 and Azure, and we have built our own platform, Novalysis, to crack the data-governance and permissions problems that quietly derail big migrations. Our clients include NHS trusts, ambulance services and public-sector bodies, so the work matters: untangling complex estates, protecting sensitive data and giving people technology that actually works. We are small and growing, which means what you do is visible and makes a difference.
The role
Glaicier is growing, and we are investing in delivery as a permanent part of the team. You will run delivery across live NHS migration engagements and the pipeline behind them, working directly with the three of us who lead the business: our CEO (who also builds the product), our Operations Director and our CCO. The bar is simple: when you own something, it is handled – clients feel looked after, the team knows what is happening, and the founders stop carrying the delivery detail in their heads.
• Own the delivery cadence across client migration projects end to end: plans, milestones, RAID, actions, and the regular drumbeat of reporting that keeps everyone honest.
• Be the client-facing PM our NHS and public-sector customers trust – calm, organised and credible in the room, with the follow-through to match.
• Run a light, repeatable PMO across the portfolio: one way of planning, tracking and reporting that scales as we win more work.
• Support mobilisation of new engagements and bring delivery rigour to bids and proposals alongside the CCO.
• Coordinate our delivery team, contractors and partners, and chase the things that need chasing before anyone has to ask.
• Build the delivery approach with us, not just run to a template someone handed you.
What you will bring
• Solid project management experience in IT or technology delivery, with genuine working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure – you can hold a credible conversation about tenants, SharePoint, identity and migration without an engineer translating.
• The craft to run a project properly: scope, plan, track, report, manage risk and communicate clearly throughout – and the discipline to do the unglamorous basics well, every week.
• Proactivity as a default. You spot the gap before it becomes a problem, close your own actions without prompting, and your written output is as strong as your presence in meetings.
• Confident, human communication with clients and colleagues alike. NHS or wider public-sector delivery experience is a genuine plus.
• Comfort in a small, fast-moving business where the playbook is still being written and you help write it.
• Experience managing delivery through Dynamics 365 Project Operations would be an advantage.
Beyond the job description
We are not after a box-ticker, and we are equally not after someone who is only good in the room. The measure of this role is output: projects that run predictably, clients who feel informed, and a founding team with more capacity because you exist. If you like making teams better, not just projects, you will fit. There is real scope to grow with us – this is our first permanent delivery hire, and the person who makes it work will shape what our delivery function becomes.
