Legal Counsel – Funds

Rev & Regs are recruiting for a new ‘Legal Counsel’ role on behalf of a global Asset Management company in London.

As a Legal Counsel, you will:

• Support the legal implementation of product development and regulatory changes across global fund ranges, including reviewing fund documentation and drafting shareholder notices.
• Draft and negotiate institutional client, investment management, distribution and other commercial agreements.
• Review and negotiate third-party fund service provider agreements.
• Support sustainability-related regulatory requirements, including SFDR and UK sustainability disclosure requirements.
• Provide legal advice to internal business teams and support cross-functional projects.
• Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting the business.
• Use approved AI tools to support legal drafting, research and review, and contribute to the team’s adoption of AI.
• Work with external counsel across different jurisdictions as required.

Required experience:

• 2+ years’ post-qualification experience, gained in private practice or an investment management business.
• Good knowledge of the UK FCA regulatory framework; experience with UCITS, AIFMD and/or MiFID II is desirable.
• Experience with investment management, distribution, platform and/or commercial agreements.
• Experience supporting fund product changes and related documentation.
• Knowledge of sustainability-related financial services regulation, such as SFDR and/or UK SDR.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted legal tools such as Claude or equivalent is an advantage.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in City of London office)

Salary: £120,000 to £135,000 pa + bonus + benefits package (Depends on experience).
