Are you an experienced M&E Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity within a prestigious commercial environment?We are currently recruiting for an M&E Shift Technician to join a well-established FM service provider, working within a state-of-the-art corporate office building in Canary Wharf.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer who is looking to develop their technical skills and progress into a more senior position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for fast-track career progression, with the role expected to develop into an Assistant Shift Lead position.
The RoleWorking as part of a professional engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the building’s M&E systems are maintained to a high standard, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the buildingMaintaining a range of electrical and mechanical building servicesResponding to breakdowns and ensuring faults are resolved efficientlySupporting the wider engineering team with day-to-day site operationsEnsuring maintenance is completed safely and in line with site proceduresAssisting with the smooth running of the shift and building servicesWorking towards progression into an Assistant Shift Lead position
About YouThe ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working within commercial FM or building servicesA strong electrical bias would be preferredGood understanding of both electrical and mechanical building servicesRelevant electrical qualificationsA proactive approach to maintenance and fault findingStrong communication and teamwork skillsAmbition to progress into a more senior engineering position
