Counterbalance Forklift Operative

LOCATION: Ashford, KentSTART DATE: Monday 17th AugustDURATION: 1 WeekRATE: £19.00 per hourHOURS: 8 hours paid per day

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join a busy warehouse in Ashford, Kent for a 1-week assignment, starting Monday 17th August.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.




• Loading and unloading deliveries from lorries and containers.




• Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse.




• Stacking, storing, and retrieving goods from designated locations.




• Carrying out daily pre-use equipment checks and reporting any defects.




• Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties when required.




• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.




• Following all warehouse procedures and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).




• Valid CSCS Card (essential).




• Full PPE, including safety boots and high-visibility clothing.




• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment.




• Two recent, checkable work references.




• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.




• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe working practices.
