SEND Home-to-School Transport Assistant — Flexible 15h/wk

Wigan Council is seeking a Passenger Assistant to support Home to School transport for SEND pupils. You will travel to and from schools in a contracted vehicle, ensuring safety and comfort for each journey, sometimes on a one-to-one basis or with several children.

The role requires flexibility to cover routes at short notice, with a focus on safeguarding and timely communication of incidents with management. Part-time, term-time hours reflect the school calendar.
