Dispatch Operatives (days)

• The Dispatch Operative will ensure vehicle keys are collected from the driver prior to the start of loading.
• Accurate preparation and loading of vehicles from loading bay and chiller areas.
• The Dispatch Operative will Liaise with 3rd party haulier drivers on delivery and collections.
• Ensure daily/ weekly checks are carried out on any equipment used in the area.
• The Dispatch Operative will ensure checks are carried out on vehicles for suitability including hygiene inspections before loading/unloading.
• Ensure specific customer security requirement relating to product transportation are adhered to.
• Ensure depot delivery time slots are not missed.
• Communicate clearly and regularly any anticipated delay to the Team Leader

Who we are looking for:

• Ideally experienced
• Pallet pump truck experience / trained
• Reliable, with a pro-active approach to problem solving
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic English, and good numeracy skills is essential

Days and Hours of Work: Sunday – Wednesday 05:30am – 17:30pm

Rate of pay:

Starting at £13.34 per hour
