Pertemps BOC seeks Warehouse Operatives – Days in Cumbernauld for full-time, temporary day shifts. Hours run Monday to Friday with varied start times of 8am, 10am or 12pm, covering six to eight hour shifts. Pay begins at £13.38 hourly during the week, rising to £14.75 at weekends, with premium rates above forty hours and further increases following a twelve-week probation. A festive bonus scheme offers potential extra earnings of up to £800, paid weekly through December rather than delayed until January. Duties suit reliable people comfortable with picking, packing and general warehouse tasks. As a Warehouse Operative you will be:
- Picking food products using a top voice pick system for a well-known supermarket Working in a chilled and ambient environment Breaking down and allocating goods Achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager Other duties which may include heavy lifting
The ideal Warehouse Operative will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided Must have a good attention to detail Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
