Cleaning Operative – Calanais Visitor Centre

Location: Calanais Visitor Centre, Isle of Lewis, HS2 9DY

Part-time £13.45 per hour

Location: Calanais, Isle of Lewis Hours: 9 hours per week (summer) / 8 hours per week (winter)

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cleaning Operative to join our team at the Calanais Visitor Centre.

You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our visitors and staff, helping us deliver an excellent visitor experience at one of Scotland’s most iconic heritage sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the Visitor Centre to a high standard.
• Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Working independently and managing cleaning priorities.
• Identifying and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.

About you

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and can work independently. Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage.
