Project Engineering Lead

Overview

As Project Engineering Lead in Leonardo’s FCA team, you will oversee the integrated engineering plan for sensing and non-kinetic systems, guiding key milestones and dependencies. You will lead the engineering team across sites, ensuring delivery on time, to cost, and to quality while managing interfaces with customers and suppliers. You will maintain design maturity, configuration, and change processes and ensure compliance with safety, security and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

• Oversee and report on the integrated engineering plan with KPIs and milestones
• Manage engineering team, roles and objectives across IPT
• Deliver engineering solutions on time, cost, quality and process
• Own engineering estimation and resourcing for delivery including customer tasking
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering and other functions across IPT
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers
• Resolve technical issues with SMEs and provide metrics/reports to the customer
• Ensure design maturity, safety, security, and regulatory compliance of solutions
• Implement and track change, configuration, and quality management processes

Key requirements

• Proven leadership of technical programmes and team management
• Strong stakeholder communication across multiple sites
• Experience with lifecycle management, risk management and project execution
• Ability to produce clear engineering documentation
