Role: Property Manager (Maternity Cover)

Location: North London

Tenure: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

Proper Recruitment are working with a well-established independent estate agency in North London who are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join their team on a 1 year fixed term contract, covering maternity leave.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio
• Acting as a point of contact for landlords, tenants, and contractors
• Coordinating maintenance issues and arranging repairs with contractors
• Ensuring properties remain compliant with current lettings legislation and safety regulations
• Assisting with tenancy renewals, move-ins, and move-outs
• Liaising with utility providers, inventory clerks, and other third parties
• Handling tenant queries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner
• Supporting with deposit negotiations and end-of-tenancy processes
• Maintaining accurate records and updating CRM/property management systems
• Assisting senior property managers with administrative and operational tasks
• Providing excellent customer service to landlords and tenants at all times

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience within property management
• ARLA Beneficial
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional and approachable manner when dealing with landlords, tenants, and contractors
• Good understanding of lettings legislation and compliance requirements advantageous
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Full UK driving licence and own car advantageous

Salary:

• £35,000 – £40,000 per annum

Tenure:

• Maternity Cover | 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Office Based | Monday – Friday
