Project Controls Engineer

Overview

As a Project Controls Engineer in our Glasgow office, you will support a variety of sectors through planning, analytics, and reporting. You’ll work within the Project Controls Team to drive governance, risk, and performance management for multiple projects. Your role centers on delivering accurate schedules and cost data to enable informed decision-making and successful project outcomes. Responsibilities

• Update project/programme schedules in Primavera P6 using data from multiple teams
• Update cost reports and support budget requests with cost data
• Prepare monthly progress reports against baselines
• Support governance and assurance of Project Controls processes

Key requirements

• Typically a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with some project control experience
• Experience in project or programme management environments with delivery or controls responsibility
• Experience using Primavera (P6), Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications
• Reliable, autonomous, and able to work in a team
• Strong time management, quick thinking, and deadline-focused
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts
