Associate Director – Quality Operations

Overview

In this role you provide strategic quality leadership across NPD and Analytical Development, ensuring robust QA oversight through product lifecycles. You will shape quality systems, drive continuous improvement, and support audits in a fast-paced, global pharmaceutical setting. As part of the Quality Leadership Team, you influence initiatives and champion quality by design to enable successful development through commercialization. This is a senior, cross-functional leadership opportunity with a meaningful impact on product quality and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic quality leadership across NPD and Analytical Development throughout product lifecycles
• Develop and maintain quality systems, including GMP documentation review and batch release
• Lead, develop and coach the Technical Quality team toward continuous professional growth
• Influence quality initiatives, participate in audits, and promote quality by design in development
• Support analytical development, pre-commercial and commercial activities with QMS implicitly in scope

Key requirements

• Degree or higher in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology or related field
• Proven pharmaceutical quality operations experience with GMP systems and manufacturing processes
• Eligible for QP status preferred; experience supporting analytical development, pre-commercial and commercial activities
