In this role you will lead as a Senior Programme Manager to translate strategic objectives into measurable outcomes across complex capital programmes. You will steer governance, risk, and stakeholder engagement while aligning delivery with wider business goals. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients and leaders, driving visible performance improvements and robust governance across multi-workstream projects. Responsibilities
- Programme Leadership: lead small to medium transformation/real estate programmes and influence large-scale programmes
- Programme Governance & Control: establish and embed governance frameworks for rigor and compliance
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: develop stakeholder plans and deliver clear communications; produce leadership/status presentations
- Financial Oversight: implement and monitor financial processes for the programme
- Risk, Health & Safety Considerations: identify risks and integrate safeguards including health and safety
- Operational Leadership: manage logs/registers, data quality, governance, and secretariat duties
- People & Team: foster high-performance, collaborative culture and internal growth
Key requirements
- Operate in a fast-paced real estate programme environment with strong leadership and organizational capability
- Proven programme management experience delivering client outcomes
- Knowledge of MSP and PMI frameworks and governance practices
- Construction project delivery background with progression to programme delivery
- Understanding of delivery models, procurement routes and contracts (NEC, JCT)
- Experience with project controls (schedule, cost, risk/opportunity management) at project and programme level
- Strong client engagement and communication skills with data-driven decision support
- Stakeholder engagement experience with third parties/customers
- Understanding of health and safety requirements (CDM, Building Safety Act)
- Committed to high performance and talent development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and programme management tools; data and digital tools, including AI
- Degree/postgraduate level in Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying (desirable)
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, CIOB, APM) desirable
