In this role you will lead US tax advisory for a growing international firm, managing a client portfolio with cross-border US-UK interests. You will develop and implement tax strategies, handle complex transactions, and serve as the primary contact for clients while mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of US clients and provide strategic tax advice
- Ensure compliance for US tax matters and cross-border clients
- Develop and implement US-UK tax strategies for complex scenarios
- Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and market expansions
- Be the primary client contact and build strong relationships
- Mentor junior staff and support Partners and Directors
- Collaborate with the wider tax team to deliver integrated solutions
Key requirements
- US Enrolled Agent (EA) is essential
- Experience in US and UK tax compliance and advisory services (preferred for owner-managed businesses, personal tax, partnerships, corporate tax)
