Project Engineer

Overview

As a Project Engineer at Reckitt, you will lead high-value change projects from feasibility to handover, aligning engineering excellence with strategic delivery. You will shape systems, drive continuous improvement, and boost production efficiency while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams and manage installation, commissioning, and post‑CAPEX reviews. Responsibilities

• Lead projects from feasibility through installation, commissioning and handover, delivering on time and within budget
• Act as project owner, coordinating cross-functional teams including ops, maintenance, quality, EHS and external suppliers
• Oversee installation and commissioning activities and act as permit to work supervisor
• Manage project documentation, risk assessments, change control, and post‑CAPEX evaluation
• Drive sustainability improvements to minimize waste and align with best practices
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards

Key requirements

• Engineering qualification (minimum HNC; Degree preferred) in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or related engineering discipline
• Proven project management experience in a similar environment
• Strong understanding of PM practices including cost control, scheduling and contractor management
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation and industrial equipment
• Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective communication across all levels
