Director – Category Manager EXM-Biologics (BIO)

Overview

As Director of BIO Category Management, you will own BIO technology categories within Teva’s externally manufactured network, shaping long-term savings, supplier engagement, and value delivery. You’ll partner with Sourcing, External Manufacturing, Quality, and business teams to build category strategy and capability in a regulated environment. You’ll operate with hands-on execution in ambiguity, establishing structure and disciplined processes. This role offers impact across procurement, supply chain, and strategic partnerships, in a mission-driven, collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Own BIO categories as Tevas category SME and define 3–5 year strategic roadmaps
• Lead RFx, negotiations, and contracts in alignment with category goals
• Define supplier management strategies and drive performance improvement
• Guide market intelligence to shape sourcing decisions and supplier opportunities
• Co-develop strategies with External Manufacturing, Technical Operations, and business functions
• Track category performance and deliver multi-year cost reduction plans
• Improve reporting transparency and consistency across category management

Key requirements

• Experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement in regulated industries
• Experience managing External Manufacturing (EXM), CMO/CDMO partnerships, or strategic supplier relationships
• Proven leadership in sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and cross-functional projects
• Strong understanding of biologics manufacturing or outsourced biologics supply chains (desirable)
• Bachelors degree; 7+ years in procurement-related fields
• Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset and strong stakeholder communication
