Project Controls Engineer – Rail

Overview

In this role you will support infrastructure projects by delivering robust performance reporting and control data. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and serve as a key contact for project controls, shaping governance and assurance processes. The position focuses on integrating progress and cost data into schedules and reports to track against baselines. You will work within a cross-functional team to enable timely decision-making and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collate progress data from multi-discipline teams to update Primavera P6 schedules
• Aggregate cost data from multiple disciplines to support budgets and cost reporting
• Prepare monthly reports comparing progress to baselines
• Support the Project Controls Manager in governance and assurance of processes

Key requirements

• Graduate in a relevant discipline with some project control experience
• Experience in project or programme management environment with delivery or controls responsibility
• Experience using Primavera P6, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications
• Reliable, able to work autonomously and in a team
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of Project Controls concepts
