Maintenance Engineer

Overview

As a Maintenance Engineer at Lyreco in Telford, you will maintain and operate equipment across our warehouse and offices, with a focus on minimising downtime and ensuring reliable building services. You’ll configure, install and commission equipment as needed, collaborating with cross-functional teams to keep the site running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Ensure operation and preventive maintenance of equipment in Warehouse and Offices
• Configure, install and commission equipment as required
• Maximise site efficiency by minimising downtime
• Undertake maintenance on building services as needed
• Work in shifts and handle manual tasks as required

Key requirements

• City & Guilds or equivalent in electro/mechanical engineering
• Recent multi-skilled experience with electro/mechanical equipment (focus on electrical)
• Strong fault-finding across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and automated software-controlled equipment
• Hydraulics a bonus
• Knowledge of logistics equipment (conveyors, packaging equipment, AC motors, inverters)
• Experience with automated and PLC equipment (Siemens S7 is a bonus)
• Electrical installations experience (distribution boards, 3/ single-phase)
• Ability to work shifts
• Manual handling capability
