Overview

In this role you will lead and grow major transport sector client engagements, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. You will shape strategic solutions for asset management and infrastructure performance while building long-term relationships that deliver value to clients and AMCL. You’ll drive growth in the Transport practice, leveraging your network to win work and cross-sell with Turner & Townsend and CBRE. Expect leadership of multidisciplinary teams, focus on delivery excellence, and a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead major client commissions with accountability for delivery, client satisfaction, and profitability
  • Act as Engagement Director for complex transport programmes and advisory engagements
  • Build trusted relationships with executive leadership and become a long-term advisor
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and measurable client value
  • Shape innovative, pragmatic solutions addressing asset management and performance challenges
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with objectives
  • Grow key client accounts by identifying opportunities and securing repeat business
  • Lead proposals, bids and strategic pursuits and drive cross-selling with AMCL, Turner & Townsend, and CBRE
  • Represent AMCL in the transport sector through industry events and thought leadership
  • Coach, mentor and develop consultants and future leaders; attract and retain talent
  • Support growth and capability development of the Transport team
  • Contribute to the future direction of the Transport practice

Key requirements

  • Significant transport sector experience across owners, operators, or consultancies
  • Proven track record in leading complex consulting engagements or transformation programmes
  • Strong client relationship management and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • History of growing client accounts and securing repeat/expanded commissions
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing project revenue and profitability
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
