Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design electrical services across diverse sectors from sustainable offices to healthcare, working within Waterman’s Building Services team in London. You will be client-facing, delivering full project delivery with autonomy and contributing to 3D design workflows. You’ll collaborate across offices, support business development, and help drive sustainable and innovative projects for blue-chip clients. Responsibilities

• Design electrical services across multiple sectors with autonomy
• Be client-facing and represent the company
• Manage full project delivery from concept to detail
• Contribute to 3D design environment and related tools
• Support electrical enquiries and issue reports/specifications
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and across offices
• Engage in business development and marketing activities
• Mentor or support junior colleagues as needed

Key requirements

• Degree-qualified or in the process of obtaining a degree
• Experience in building services design across sectors
• Strong communication skills for external and internal stakeholders
• Working towards Chartered Status or interest in pursuing
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• People management experience is desirable
• Willingness to travel and inter-office collaboration
• Awareness of 3D design environments; knowledge of cable sizing and lighting design software
