Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead electrical design for multi-disciplinary projects in the distribution, transmission, renewables, and T&D sectors. You’ll work within a team to deliver ICP/EPC designs and ensure grid-code compliance, while coordinating with civil interfaces and external contractors. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical design for EPC/ICP projects from concept to detail
• Conduct grid code compliance studies and ensure design package alignment
• Coordinate electrical-civil interfaces and resolve complex design issues
• Mentor and guide in-house and external design resources; review outputs
• Support tendering with technical input and scope definitions for subcontractors/vendors

Key requirements

• Experience in ICP, electrical design and electrical engineering
• Knowledge of UK Grid Code and applicable UK standards
• Proficiency with DigSilent, PSCAD and CAD tools
• MS Project, Excel, Word proficiency
• Ability to manage complex electrical design issues and collaborate effectively
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
• Full driving licence
