Cyber Security Delivery Partner

Overview

In this role, you will serve as the main cyber security contact for a division, translating strategy and standards into practical delivery plans and measurable outcomes. You will implement security controls, coordinate remediation, and manage divisional cyber risks to embed security across change. You’ll collaborate with IT, risk, and leadership to support audits and continuous cyber maturity. This role offers hybrid work and a chance to influence security across a world-renowned university.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary cyber security contact for the division
• Translate security strategy, policies, and standards into delivery plans and measurable outcomes
• Support implementation of security controls and remediation activities
• Manage divisional cyber risks and issues; ensure security is embedded in divisional and technology change
• Support audits, assurance activities, and incident response follow-up
• Manage the divisions cyber security team/resources on a day-to-day basis

Key requirements

• Strong experience in cyber security, information security, risk, or assurance
• Experience partnering with business and technology teams in complex organisations
• Good understanding of cyber risks, governance, controls, and compliance
• Ability to translate security requirements into practical actions and outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
• Qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are desirable
