Project Engineering Manager

Overview

In this role you drive the engineering execution of customer projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, on-schedule, and quality-compliant engineering outcomes. You will partner with project managers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure technical deliverables meet objectives within budget. You’ll lead engineering planning and risk resolution while communicating progress to stakeholders, shaping the project’s technical direction. Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities for assigned projects
• Support detailed engineering planning to align execution with objectives
• Deliver engineering scope per customer requirements, quality standards, schedules, and budget
• Facilitate regular project reviews for progress, resources, and costs
• Identify and resolve technical risks, issues, and design challenges
• Provide clear project updates and technical communication to stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, manufacturing, supply chain, and service teams to enable delivery
• Represent engineering in customer meetings throughout the project lifecycle

Key requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline
• Experience in project engineering, systems engineering, or project engineering management in product or system environments
• Experience in industrial, energy, automation, controls, process, or related industries
• Effective project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working with multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams
• Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities in a dynamic environment
• Experience analyzing information and delivering practical solutions
• Proven track record delivering programs/projects to objectives
• Experience planning, documenting, coordinating, and executing project activities
• Established project management skills and understanding of project delivery processes
• Flexibility for occasional international travel
