Senior/Lead Data Scientist Contract Opportunity | Manchester | Outside IR35

We’re working with a major UK digital business going through a huge Data & AI transformation and we’re looking to speak with genuinely commercial Data Scientists who have built and deployed models that drive measurable business impact.

This is not a “research-only” role or a pure POC environment — they need someone who has delivered production-grade ML solutions at scale.

Key experience we’re looking for:

• Churn prediction modelling
• Customer segmentation
• Next Best Action / recommendation systems
• Time series forecasting
• Strong Python experience
• Databricks exposure
• Production ML / MLOps environments

Tech stack includes:

• Python
• SQL
• Databricks
• MLflow / CI-CD / modern ML pipelines
• Central Manchester (Hybrid)
• Contract role
• Day rate DOE

Ideal background would be someone who enjoys solving real commercial problems with data and can bridge the gap between technical delivery and business impact.
