qa engineer (auto) for an energy trading platform

The company has built a real-time energy trading platform that helps large industrial and commercial users revolutionise energy buying. Its platform uses AI to process unstructured data from multiple document types and move it through a complex network of internal systems.

Задачи:

• Establish automated test coverage from the ground up and bring structure and best practices to testing
• Determine the testing strategy, tooling and approach
• Own testing of connections between systems, including API-led internal integrations and third-party integrations
• Ensure integrations and data journeys work accurately, reliably and at scale
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria
• Support user acceptance testing and ensure the platform meets operational needs

Требования:

• Strong Playwright test automation skills
• Experience with APIs, complex data flows and multiple systems
• Use Claude in day-to-day activities and review its output
• Work autonomously and make technical decisions
• Experience in a trading or finance environment, understanding of financial data, and good numeracy skills
• Collaborative and pragmatic approach, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree in a STEM discipline, such as Computer Science, Maths, Economics or Physics, from a top-tier university such as Russell Group or Oxbridge
