We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, high calibre Chief of Staff to work alongside a Managing Partner as a strategic partner and force multiplier. This is a unique and highly trusted role, offering exposure across all aspects of the business, with real ownership of our investor relations and fundraising agenda. The successful candidate will have exceptional judgment and discretion, emotional intelligence, a proactive mindset and the business acumen to engage directly with investors, clients and senior stakeholders. This position would be well suited to a Chief of Staff or senior EA with a strategic remit who is looking to step up, take on real accountability and keep learning.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a strategic partner and thought partner to a senior executive, pressure-testing decisions, framing options and making recommendations.
  • Set and protect the Managing Partner’s agenda, ensuring time is focused on the highest-value activities: investors, key relationships and decisions only they can make.
  • Project manage fundraising end to end, building the workplan and critical path, assigning owners and deadlines, and keeping the process on schedule.
  • Manage the investor pipeline, including target tiering, meeting sequencing, sentiment and objection tracking, and follow-up strategy.
  • Coordinate diligence and data room readiness ahead of demand, ensuring the business is prepared before investors ask.
  • Prepare decision-ready briefing packs, agendas, presentations, research and background materials that lead with a clear recommendation.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with the authority to set priorities, unblock colleagues and hold owners to account, driving initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Run the operating rhythm of the executive office, including weekly priorities, action tracking, risk reviews, and escalation of slippage before it becomes a problem.
  • Coordinate advisors, counsel and external partners so that everyone is aligned and working from the same plan.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring communications are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Conduct research and synthesise information into concise, actionable summaries to support strategic discussions and business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases and CRM systems, ensuring investor and stakeholder information is organised, current and readily accessible.
  • Create and prepare investor materials, presentations, reports, proposals and other business-critical documentation.
  • Draft, review and manage correspondence on behalf of senior leadership, ensuring communications are clear and professional.
  • Plan and deliver key meetings, investor events, off‑sites and stakeholder gatherings. Day‑to‑day diary management, travel, expenses and office administration are supported by a dedicated team member.
  • Identify what is slowing the business down, and design and implement better processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness across executive support and business operations.

What You’ll Need:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience in fast paced sector including financial services, banking or technology
  • 3 + years experience in a Chief of Staff or senior strategic support role, working in a fast paced, client focused environment.
  • Experience running or supporting a fundraise, investor relations or capital-raising process, or a demonstrable ability to pick it up quickly.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and investors.
  • Excellent judgement, discretion and experience handling confidential and market‑sensitive information.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with strong ownership and attention to detail. You anticipate rather than wait to be asked.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to drive complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives to completion.
