Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Financial Controller for a growing and ambitious organisation in Exeter. This role will play a pivotal part in leading and developing the finance team, managing day-to-day financial operations, and driving efficiencies through improved systems, processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the finance function and team
- Lead the implementation of new systems and processes across the business
- Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Take ownership of budgeting and forecasting activities
- Manage cash flow forecasting and financial planning
- Partner with senior leaders, providing financial guidance on key projects and initiatives
- Support the business in achieving key performance and revenue objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic projects and continuous business improvement initiatives
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Highly motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
